Pooled refrigerant inventory
Track usable pounds by refrigerant type, technician, van, or location, without making cylinder IDs part of every routine action.
Core development focusMeet Refrigerant Tracker Pro: an HVAC/R platform in development to help technicians, contractors, and equipment owners manage refrigerant inventory, service activity, equipment records, and reporting in one connected place.
From refrigerant cylinders to equipment histories, the platform is being designed around practical HVAC/R operations. The following describe features being built or planned, not currently available public services.
Track usable pounds by refrigerant type, technician, van, or location, without making cylinder IDs part of every routine action.
Core development focusRecord refrigerant added, removed, recovered, or adjusted. Use quick entries or associate transactions with a customer, site, and unit.
Core development focusMove refrigerant between technicians or locations, including proposed borrow-and-use flows that track exact quantities and approvals.
Planned team workflowOrganize manufacturers, models, serial numbers, refrigerant types, factory charges, and service events into searchable histories.
In development / planned expansionCapture quantities, dates, technician activity, and service context to build reviewable records for each piece of equipment.
Planned recordkeepingExplore fiscal-year totals, refrigerant movement summaries, variance tracking, audit-friendly exports, and future jurisdiction-aware workflows.
Planned reporting moduleA simpler intended workflow that brings stock, service events, and office visibility together.
Add refrigerant by type and quantity, assign it to a technician or location, and see the pooled amount available for work.
Deduct usage, document recovery or transfers, and optionally connect activity to a customer, service site, and equipment record.
Use transaction history and planned reports to understand stock balances, usage over time, and equipment service activity.
The vision spans the field, the office, and the people responsible for equipment and refrigerant supply.
Quick refrigerant usage, personal inventory, and customer equipment notes designed for work on the go.
Initial audienceShared stock visibility, office-side adjustments and approvals, technician activity, and multi-location reporting.
Team workflows in developmentPortfolio equipment counts, service history, and planned authorized sharing with the companies maintaining each site.
Customer-side portal plannedFuture branch and warehouse workflows for receipts, cylinder inventory, returns, reconciliation, and documentation.
Future platform expansionThe focus is to develop dependable refrigerant inventory workflows first, then expand into broader equipment and operations capabilities.

Customers, sites, unit histories, service events, and data-plate scanning.
Office dashboards, customer views, report exports, and compliance-oriented recordkeeping.
Warehouse tools, authorized handovers, integrations, and additional automation.
Roadmap stages are directional rather than committed release dates. Features may change as development, testing, and regulatory review progress.
Refrigerant Tracker Pro is still being built. These answers describe the intended product rather than a public release.
Not for public release. Development and preparation for controlled beta testing are underway. Availability will be announced once essential workflows are validated.
The product direction includes iOS and Android phones, tablet-friendly layouts, and a browser-based office dashboard. Device support and functionality will be confirmed before release.
No. It is intended to support individual technicians and HVAC/R companies first, with additional portals for equipment owners and property managers and future distributor-focused capabilities.
No software can replace your regulatory obligations. Compliance-oriented documentation, reporting, and jurisdiction-aware calculations are planned, but they will require testing and review. Users remain responsible for applicable EPA, state, and local requirements.
The planned customer-side experience focuses on authorized property, equipment, and service records—not a contractor's private inventory or financial information. Permission boundaries must be implemented and verified before enabling those features.
Designed with real field workflows in mind. Product development and controlled beta preparation are in progress; public accounts are not yet available.
